Before I begin I would like to pose a question?
Science tells us that there once was “Ice Age” So how does ice melt?
Well I guess the easiest way to answer the above is Heat, so if heat melts ice hasn’t the world been heating up since then??
From my memories as a young boy I can always remember that there has been some sort of enemy in many forms.
As I was born in the sixties I remember the Vietnam war fighting the communists those evil friends of the Soviets that were going to take over the world as we knew it and turn us all in to Hammer & Sickle waving little Commies.
Then in the Seventies there was the news that shook the world as we knew it then--- That oil was drying up and would not last Ten or Twenty years, so up went the price of PREMIUM GRADE crude. The thing is in Australia we don’t import Premium Grade Crude, but we paid more for it then.
The eighties came and went with the usual suspects like the original “Evil Empire” USSR, plus a few new comers like the PLO and whoever else. The Nineties seen
Saddam V Bush snr, The Taliban, Castro Again and whoever else the thought were a threat.
Recently we have seen Osama Bin Laden, The Taliban Again. Then on December 31st 1999 at 11.59 PM the world as we knew it was going to collapse around us everything that was run by computers was going to stop because some idiot forgot to put a timer in the dam things or something “UNLESS WE SPENT BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FIXING THE PROBLEM” Guess who told us “THE EXPERTS” And through it all we believed the propaganda (crapolla) that was feed to us.
Now “The Experts” rise again now its Global warming- The world is getting warmer they tell us, the ice is melting the seas are rising- and it’s all our fault. Great way to make us all spend money that adds to inflation which we are told helps lift interest rates.
Now “The Experts” are telling us it going to cost a lot more for Fuel, Electricity, Gas which will lead to higher costs of living as we are already seeing. The worst thing is now we also have “King Kev07” our “Help the Struggling Families” PM that has been out of the country longer than he has been in it, and after guaranteeing that Australian families will pay more by signing Kyoto. Now “King Kev” is off to Japan to tell the G8 that they should follow in Australia’s footsteps, But he has already admitted defeat by saying that the result will proberly not turn out the way we (opps HE) want. So Why Are You Going Kev???
The fact is we only produce about 2 or 3 % of the world’s omissions so all these things that are being imposed on us that will cripple our Economy will not help the world from the doom and gloom “The Experts” are forecasting. The Australian Labor party are loving this why? Because it keeps the focus off the way they are running place and fact is like it or not it has all been a downhill slide since the last election.
We all need to research these facts that “The Experts” feed us as most of the like Ross Garnult are just getting on the band wagon they are “Experts” in a field that did not even exist 30 Years ago and now this “Expert” together with “King Kev” and company are about to perpetrate the biggest CON Job on the Australian Public to date.
If we don’t all act and just believe what we are told we are in danger of stifling Australia’s growth. We cannot afford to go to the extreme but must maintain a more open approach and not the knee jerk gung ho full steam ahead regardless of the consequences.
We must take a more balanced approach to this “maybe problem” is it worth us putting “All our faith” in Science the answer has already been answered throughout history and the answer is NO. More time is needed and more study as we may not have anything left to pass on to our children as we are seeing already, people living in cars, Pensioners steeling. We can’t afford to lift the cost of living any more or we will risk being a welfare state.
Stay here Mr Rudd and fix our problems, the world already has one knight in shinning amour in America for gods sake we don’t need two. Mr Rudd you risk being a one term government if you don’t act to help Australians as you promised all that would listen(And most now regret that they listened to you) what in the hell gives you the right to try and run the world you haven’t proven you can Run Australia yet.
