The 10 Steps In The Spray Pave Process

Acid Etch, Clean & Neturalise.
This process involves applying acid to the existing concrete, then a high pressure clean which will also neturalise the acid.

Repair cracks and mask all walls ect.
We grind most cracks out proir to filling them, at this point we may also grind down lips on existing concrete. We also mask all walls and windows, posts ECT.
3.
Apply polymer base to existing concrete allow to dry in preperation for the application of spray pave.
4.
Apply first coat of colour.
This step involves spraying a base coat of colour to the existing concrete, this will later become the "mortar lines" after the pattern and main colour are applied.
5.
Apply custom pattern or stencil.
Now we add the design to the existing concrete, this may be in the form of a stencil pattern or a custom tape design.
6.
Apply 2 coats of main colour.
We apply 2 coats of the main colour to insure that the colour is as even as possable. The first coat is added for coverage whereas the second coat will be the "texture coat"
7.
Strip Pattern.
When all the resurfacing product has dried then we strip the stencil or tape pattern, then we blow the area down with air then we sweep and re-blow the area prior to sealing.
8.
Apply concrete sealer
.
After the area is clean and free from debris and dust we then apply one coat of sealer (full strength) after this coat dries we apply a second coat. This will protect the area from stains ECT. ( in some cases we do need to come and apply a third coat - this is done at no charge).
9.
Clean up work area.
Clean up work area including any overspray and excess materials.

Texture-Crete Spray On Concrete
is a practical,
cost effective way to revive & rejuvenate existing concrete. "Texture-Crete" is a
cement based resurfacing product providing excellent resistance to
abrasion and
weathering. It is tenacious in its bond to concrete and great for driveways, patios, pool surrounds etc and is fantastic for opening up outdoor areas and works great indoors in fact most resurfacing applications can be done with Spray Pave.
Spray Pave
is very hard wearing and comes in a huge range of
styles and finishes, and is also extermely slip resistant. We pride ourselves on our unique custom designs and fully hand taped patterns. We also offer a full range of standard stencils and rosettes.
The applications for Spray Pave are numerous, including Driveways, Carports, Patio's, BBQ Areas, Paths, Pool Surrounds. It is also great for "putting the grip back into slip".
One of the most common questions we are asked is " How long will it last?" The answer ito this is "Depends how you maintain it". Like all decorative concrete, you must reseal your Spray Pave at least every 12 - 20 months as this will stop UV damage, general wear and tear and hot tyre damage. So by resealing your "Texture-Crete" it should last as long as all other Decorative Concrete.
